Hubby’s Favorite Meal

I’m not one of those people that can eat the same thing, for every meal, every day of the week. My taste buds get bored too easily.
The hubs, on the other hand, is quite content doing just that. When provided the right meal of course. He will make a honkin’ pot of rice and beans and eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner until he’s scraped the pot clean. Okay, maybe not breakfast, but you get the point. I think this ‘talent’ of his could be from having lived off of Ramen and eggs for most of his college career, but that’s just me.
Wherever the skill comes from, he’s showing them off once again. Yes ladies and gents, there is currently a HUGE pot of rice and beans in our frig that will slowly disappear into Z’s belly. Don’t get me wrong, it’s really delicious, super cheap, lasts forever and is a healthy source of protein. But I sure am glad he’ll be the one chowing down for the next week while I grab a small bowl every now and then.

My handsome hubby chop chop choppin’ away!
YUMMY veggies and sausage {chopped red, yellow and green peppers, onions and garlic}
The finished product. Told you it was HONKIN’!
If any of you are hungry over the next week or two, don’t hesitate to swing on by. I’m sure there will be plenty left to go around.

Until next time…
Is there one dish that you could eat over and over again without getting bored? Please share so I can try it out!

  1. Hahaha Brian is the same way. For him it's either plain buttered white rice or beans and rice. And he has eaten it for breakfast and sometimes twice in the same day :PI'll have to try y'alls version, get a little more variety in the rice diet…
